My name is Phil and I am a sax player based in the Nouvelle Aquitaine area of Southern France and I moved here permanently a few years ago from the UK having spent many years playing  Funk, Jazz, Rock & Soul with various bands in and around Dorset and Hampshire. I am originally a classically trained clarinetist who couldn't resist the sax!

I specialise playing sax at weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, parties, restaurants, public and corporate events ensuring the right ambience is created for each and every event.

I use high quality backing tracks and play soprano, alto and tenor saxes which creates a beautiful mix of expressive and soulful sax playing. I am versatile and interpret each client brief by offering the right mix of jazz classics, smooth jazz, latin jazz, pop / soul / dance and the  DJ/house/sax.
 

I use Bose p.a systems for a clear sound that fills the space effortlessly from intimate settings for 15-20 people up to 100+, add this to a very wide repertoire and you have a perfect recipe for music tailored specifically to your event and your needs. 

I also offer tailored saxophone tuition for all levels in my purpose built music studio near Villebois Lavalette.
